New StorageCraft Pricelist

Bad news for the ordering people amongst you – StorageCraft have updated their part numbers plus there are a number of licensing changes so our part numbers have all changed today.

Effective immediately, there are no part numbers to order new licenses or renew with three-year maintenance – if a customer wants multi-year maintenance you now order multiples of the one-year code.

Previously the Desktop edition was only available as a three-year purchase, now it is only available as a one-year purchase.

Another change for Desktop, where there used to be one-pack, three-pack and five-pack, there is now just a continuous price bank of 1 to 19 nodes.

A reminder also that ImageManager iFTP and Headstart Restore are now free.

Pricing on the server and virtual licenses is otherwise unchanged.

Please contact Soft Solutions for pricing.

ImageManager version 7

If you missed our email last week, here’s a link to our blog post on the new version 7 of ImageManager. Key new features include regular live-boot backup testing and automated sub-folder creation for new hosts being managed. The new image verification will boot-up a backup set in a virtual environment and you get emailed a screenshot of the login screen to prove that the backup set is restorable. Also StorageCraft have removed the charges for a couple of key add-ons, IntelligentFTP and Headstart Restore. Read more.
