IT Edition Promo
As you may have heard, StorageCraft are offering a significant discount for the new purchase or renewal of reseller IT editions until the end of June. Normal dealer buy price is $1320 plus GST – under this deal the price is just $746.50 plus GST. (Please don’t get confused like we did if you see the Australian price of $695 anywhere – the New Zealand price is $746.50 plus GST).
There’s also the Pro edition that includes Granular Recovery for Exchange. The Pro edition is normally $2200 plus GST, but under this promo it is just $1,094.50 plus GST. (Why would you want GRE? It’s great for retrieving accidentally-deleted email messages and other data or for merging Exchange server mailboxes when joining business systems or consolidating resources).
You can use this deal to buy new licenses or extend existing ones – even if they don’t expire until after the end of June. You can also buy multiple years if you want to take maximum advantage of the discount.
If you bought a license since 1 April then StorageCraft are giving you a ten-month extension to your license at no charge – just email StorageCraft and we will make it happen for you. If you purchased or renewed before 1 April then sorry we can’t adjust that, but you are still entitled to extend your license by one or more years at the discounted pricing.
Three-year Desktop Licenses
In our last update we told you how StorageCraft had removed three-year licenses from their pricelist – and a number of you responded saying you like the fact Desktop is three-year because it is such low value (eg just RRP $21.99 plus GST to renew for one year). So we have created new part numbers at the sofsol end for you to buy or renew bundled with three-year maintenance. These are included in our latest pricelist, available for download from this link.
Technical Training in Christchurch
Great to see so many of you taking advantage of the StorageCraft full-day technical workshops. Auckland and Wellington are complete, but Christchurch is still to happen next week … on 17 May. There will be an introductory workshop on ShadowProtect SPX for Windows and Linux followed by an advanced workshop for experienced StorageCraft Technicians going deeper into the backup and recovery of complex servers such as Microsoft Active Directory, SQL and Exchange and the intricacies of ShadowControl.
